Thai army moves to crush protests
Clashes as troops launch offensive to end weeks of red shirt protests.

Hundreds of troops have stormed the main encampment of anti-government red shirt protesters in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
The offensive following weeks of street protests triggered clashes in which five protesters and one foreign journalist were killed.
