As the UK election campaign enters its final week, Britain’s political leaders are keen to focus on securing votes from key constituencies.
The country’s elderly population, known as the grey vote, is one such group that could prove to be the key to success for the party that wins Thursday’s parliamentary poll.
With eight out of 10 pensioners predicted to vote in the election, the grey vote could influence more than half of all constituency seats.
Al Jazeera’s Nazanine Moshiri reports from London on the main parties’ attempts to impress the crucial group.
