Monks hit hard by China earthquake
Qinghai province’s monasteries are struggling after Wednesday’s quake.

The death toll from Wednesday’s earthquake in China has risen to 791. Rescuers are still finding survivors in the rubble, despite the freezing conditions overnight.
At least 100,000 people have been left homeless by the quake.
Qinghai province is also home to many monasteries, and they’ve been hit hard, as Al Jazeera’s Melissa Chan reports.
