Darfur faces voting challenges
Doubts cast on upcoming multi-party elections as fighting persists in Darfur.

Nearly 16 million eligible voters are expected to head to the polls on Sunday to vote in presidential, parliamentary and local elections.
The election process is the culmination of five years of planning and investment from the international community and is meant to pave the way for a national unity referendum in 2011.
But in the ravaged region of Darfur, few people have registered to vote; many are still isolated in areas where tribal fighting has raged.
Al Jazeera’s Mohamed Vall reports from Northern Darfur on how the security situation could impact voting.
