Vigilantes ‘on the rise’ in Mexico
Authorities say more groups are taking justice into their own hands.

Mexico is plagued by drug trafficking and widespread violence.
The popular public perception that the country’s security forces are failing to bring security – is causing many to favour vigilante groups, who have taken the law into their own hands.
But authorities say what they are doing is illegal and must be stopped.
