Smokers could be pushed further out into the cold in the UK under new government plans to extend the country’s existing cigarette ban to outdoors.
Under the new proposal the ban would include bus shelters, pub beer gardens and entrances to workplaces.
The plan is all part of the British government’s aim to halve the number of smokers by 2020.
