The White House press secretary has said he expects the alleged mastermind of the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington to be convicted and executed after he is finally tried.
The remarks by Robert Gibbs have shocked legal experts, who say they could compromise Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s right to a fair trial.
