Bringing home S Sudan’s dead

Looming separation of Sudan prompts South Sudanese to rebury the bodies of loved-ones in the South.

More than two decades of civil war in Sudan not only divided a country but fractured countless Sudanese families.

An estimated two million people were killed in the conflict and many of them never received a proper burial.

Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa reports from Juba in Southern Sudan, where some families have managed to bring their relatives’ bodies’ home, in an effort not to recover, but perhaps to lay to rest what they lost.
