Soldiers who took part in attack on South’s island last month claim provocation on TV.

North Korean soldiers have appeared in a televised show to give testimony on their attack on South Korea’s Yeonpyeong island last month.
The two sides engaged in an exchange of artillery fire, in which four South Koreans were killed. Tensions between the neighbours were raised to their highest in decades following the clashes.
The soldiers say they were provoked by the south, which had been conducting live fire drills off disputed waters near the island.
