Poor Indians bear brunt of graft

The man accused of being behind one of India’s biggest corruption scandals has appeared in front of an investigation panel.  

A. Raja allegedly sold mobile phone licenses at very cheap rates, costing the government over $40bn. 

But, as Al Jazeera’s Prerna Suri reports from New Delhi, it is the country’s poor who continue to bear the brunt of the country’s corruption pandemic.
