Blizzards add to BA’s woes
UK carrier losing $15m a day due to storms – the latest in a long line of crises to hit this year.

British Airways has suffered financial losses of about $15 million a day since blizzards forced airports across Europe to postpone flights last week, stranding thousands of passengers.
London’s Heathrow Airport, Europe’s busiest air hub, remains one of the worst affected in the continent.
Many blame BA for failing to prepare for the harsh weather conditions.
It is the latest crisis to hit the airline following the Iceland’s volcano ash cloud and BA employee strikes in May which inflicted unprecedented losses for the company this year.
