China and Pakistan boost ties
Billions of dollars in trade deals to be signed during visit by China’s PM to Pakistan.

China and Pakistan are set to sign billions of dollars worth of trade and business deals in a bid to boost military and political ties.
The deals come on the second day of a visit by Wen Jiabao, China’s prime minister, to Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, for a trip aimed at boosting relations between the two countries.
Some analysts say growing ties between the US and India – Pakistan’s neighbouring rival – are pushing Islamabad to forge closer ties with China.
