Benin sorcery and infanticide

Despite efforts to stop Benin’s sorcery-related infanticide, a UN report says it continues.

In the West African State of Benin the fear of sorcery is so great that children, and even babies, believed to be witches are sometimes killed.

An unreleased UNICEF report, seen by Al Jazeera, says despite efforts to wipe the practice out, sorcery-related infanticide continues.
