Sudan party issues vote ultimatum
South Sudan’s ruling party threatens not to recognise January referendum unless demands are met.

One of Sudan’s main political parties says it will not recognise January’s referendum on southern independance if voter registration problems are not resolved.
The National Congress Party has accused the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement of discouraging southerners living in the north from registering.
