Sudanese amputees offered hope

Health centre helps people who lost limbs to civil conflict and disease in country’s south.

Southern Sudan is trying to put itself back together after decades of civil war.

Many people lost limbs during the conflict, both in the fighting and due to disease. But now a health centre set up by the International Red Cross and the government is offering hope to amputees.
