Voting begins in Jordan elections

Low voter turnout is expected among Jordanians of Palestinian origin, amid opposition boycotts and fraud allegations.

Polling stations have opened in parliamentary elections in Jordan.

The main opposition – the Muslim Brotherhood – is boycotting the vote, saying it suspects fraud.

A low voter turn out is also expected among many Jordanians of Palestinian origin.
