Better known as the Interpol, the International Criminal Police Organisation is the body that coordinates and facilitates global police cooperation. Its goal is to find innovative ways to combat crime around the world.

The annual Interpol conference is currently underway here in Doha. Qatar is welcoming officials from one hundred and eighty eight countries.

Among them is Argentina which has just opened the first Interpol office anywhere in South America.

Not surprisingly perhaps, drug trafficking is a major concern for the newly opened office.
