Haiti braces for approaching storm

Tropical storm heading towards Haiti where it could compound efforts to halt a cholera outbreak.

Hurricane Tomas, which had been raging through the Caribbean with heavy winds of up to 100 kilometres, has been downgraded to a tropical storm.
