Brown bears are fighting for survival in the face of development, hunting and mining.

Development and illegal hunting in Spain’s Cantabria Mountains are threatening the future survival of one of Spain’s most magnificent wild animals – the brown bear.
With just 120 left in the wild, the animals are facing a fight for survival as coal-mining, ski resorts and transport links threaten their natural habitat.
