Taliban ‘knocked out’ of video game

Public indignation forces maker of popular game to stop calling enemy fighters Taliban.

There’s been a U-turn by the maker of one of this year’s most popular computer games – Medal of Honor.

A feature that allowed players to control Taliban fighters has been scrapped.

Publisher Electronic Arts says it bowed to public pressure, changing the name for enemy fighters from Taliban to “opposing force”.
