Al Jazeera tries to determine if Americans understand the words used by their political elite.

For some Americans, politics is a different language.
Bellwether, beltway, mugwump and filibuster are just a few of the terms thrown around on any given day in Washington, DC, the nation’s capital.
So Al Jazeera’s John Terrett hit the streets of Atlanta in the southern US state of Georgia, to see if voters there were up on their political lingo ahead of the country’s midterm elections.
