Tea Party spoils Democrats’ party
Even in Illinois, the US president’s seat, Democrats face odds due to conservative movement.

On Tuesday the US will hold its midterm elections, seen as a referendum on Barack Obama’s presidency just two years into his term in office.
Illinois, Obama’s home state, used to be a safe bet for the Democrats – it used to be the president’s seat.
However, this year it is a tight race due in part to a new player on the poltiical scene; the Tea Party Movement.
Al Jazeera’s Mike Hanna reports from Illinois where supporters of the conservative movement are campaigning.
