Two Italian-Americans are in the race for governor of New York in November elections.

In the US midterm elections, the race for governor of New York has become a battle between two Italian-Americans.
Republican Carl Paladino – a successful and outspoken businessman – is running against Democrat Andrew Cuomo, the state attorney general.
