Chile rescue

Thirty-three miners, after being trapped underground for 69 days in a mine in northern Chile, are finally being pulled up to the surface one by one through a narrow shaft.

They are greeted by tearful relatives who have been camping outside the mine since the August 5 accident.

Al Jazeera’s Zeina Awad reports.
