Water sports on the rise in Baghdad
Despite the dangerous reality still present, many are taking to the Tigris river for fun.

The Iraqi capital Baghdad has often been associated with explosions and violence in recent years.
At one point, the Tigris river that runs through the city was used as a dumping area for dead bodies.
But as Al Jazeera’s Rawya Rageh reports from Baghdad, the Tigris is now becoming popular with water-sport enthusiasts.
