An Egyptian court is expected to announce a verdict shortly in a case where train operators face accusations of negligence.
A train crash last October killed 18 people – the latest in a string of disasters that have plagued the Middle East’s largest railway network for the past two decades.
But that crash has sparked a backlash in Egypt’s parliament over who should take the blame for transport disasters, as Rawya Rageh reports.
