Tony Blair, the former British prime minister, is to face questions on his decision to take Britain into the Iraq war and whether his government distorted intelligence reports to justify its actions.
His appearance will be the centrepiece of the UK’s Iraq war inquiry and he is expected to defend his decision to join the 2003 invasion, a decision that divided the country and his own political party.
Al Jazeera’s Barbara Serra reports, ahead of Blair’s appearance in front of the Iraq inquiry.
