Taliban targets Afghan government
Presidential palace is among the targets in series of deadly attacks in Kabul.

A series of deadly bomb attacks in and around Kabul’s heavily secured government ministries reflects the increasing security concern to Afghan and international forces.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks and told Al Jazeera that the presidential palace was their intended target.
As causality figures grow there are fears further attacks may be planned.
