Turkey revives Armenian Church

Turkey has repaired an ancient Armenian Christian church in the country’s east and invited Armenians from all over the world to come for a one-day Christian service.

The event in Akdamar Church is the first since 1915, when most Turkish Armenians were killed or driven out of the country.

Al Jazeera’s Anita McNaught reports from eastern Turkey.
