Fears over US Kandahar offensive

Afghans voice concerns over upcoming miltiary camaign to take Taliban-held province.

    US forces in Afghanistan are planning a major military offensive on Kandahar, a Taliban-controlled province of more than two million people, for later this year.

    The US says the offensive is aimed at handing power back to the people.

    Al Jazeera's David Chater reports travelled to Kandahar to hear what people there think about the planned US military operation.
