France recommends ban on veil
Report says women should be banned from wearing face-covering veils in public places.

A French parliamentary panel has recommend that Muslim women be banned from wearing face-covering veils in public places.
The panel’s report follows a six month inquiry after Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France, said veils were not welcome on French territory.
