EU declares Afghan vote “victory” for Afghans despite low turn-out in the south.

The EU had the largest number of international observers for the Afghan elections, although they admit that poor security meant they were only able to visit six voting centres in the south, where they believe the turn-out was particularly low.
But the union has joined the White House and Nato in declaring the elections a victory for the Afghan people, as Al Jazeera’s James Bays reports.
