China workers flee chemical spill
Four people hospitalised and 1,000 evacuated following leak of chemical at shoe factory.

A report on the Wenzhou city government website said the four hospitalised workers were taken to hospital after they suffered from nose, eye and throat irritation after coming in contact with the chemical.
Despite a raft of legislation, workplace accidents are common in China with poor enforcement of safety standards leading to thousands of deaths and injuries every year.
