Around 500 soldiers were involved in the military rebellion at the Mukhrovani base in the Gori region earlier this month.
The incident ended without violence after Georgian tanks and armoured vehicles surrounded the area.
It came amid protests by opposition leaders pressing for Mikheil Saakashvili, the country’s president, to resign.
Saakashvili visited the base during the mutiny to negotiate with those involved.
Georgian officials had accused Russia of backing the mutiny, claiming it was part of a plot to disrupt planned Nato military exercises in the former Soviet state – a charge which Moscow strongly denied.
