Citizens in Kabul and other cities protest over alleged civilian deaths by foreign forces.

Afghans angry with ISAF at civilian casualties screen grab

Streets in Kabul, the Afghan capital, were flooded with protesters on Wednesday angry at civilian deaths at the hands of foreign forces in the country.

The protests were triggered by a raid by the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) on Sunday, which the Afghan government said left 10 civilians, including schoolchildren, dead in Kunar province, close to the border with Pakistan.

Western forces in Afghanistan face a huge public relations problem as their unpopularity grows with every civilian death.
