The explosions at the Mayon volcano in the Philippines are growing more intense, with the area remaining on high alert for a major eruption.
Lava has been flowing from the dome for 10 days now and scientists are concerned a violent, toxic explosion could devastate the area surrounding the volcano. Meanwhile, many of the area’s residents will have to spend their Christmas in shelters.
