For injured combatants in Afghanistan, the quality of medical care is often the difference between life and death.
That’s a decision American medics have to make almost every day.
Al Jazeera’s Clayton Swisher spent time with one combat medical team in Kandahar province and found out that the hospital a person is sent to often depends on what country that person is from.
