Afghanistan has come under increasing international pressure to tackle government corruption, seen as a major stumbling block to the country’s development.
In one Kabul neighbourhood residents were promised a new road four years ago. But construction was halted, and the money given to the contractor cannot be traced.
Al Jazeera’s Steve Chao reports from the Afghan capital.
