US hikers languish in Iran jail
Tehran says it is still probing case of three jailed in July for “trespassing”.

Iranian authorities say the country’s judiciary is still investigating the case of three Americans detained in July while hiking near the Iranian border.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said the hikers “trampled the law” and “need to be punished.”
Al Jazeera spoke to Shon Meckfessel, a friend of the group who had planned to hike with them that fateful day.
