Palestinian prisoner hope dashed

An Israeli-Palestinian prisoner swap deal has broken down, leaving families frustrated.

Hopes of an imminent Palestinian-Israeli prisoner swap have diminished, leaving families of some 9,000 prisoners disappointed and frustrated.

But, that has not stopped their resolve. Relatives of prisoners met in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho to discuss how to defend the rights of their loved ones, who remain in Israeli jails.

Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh reports.
