Barack Obama, the US president, has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Al Jazeera gets reaction from the streets of the Egyptian capital Cairo and the Iranian capital Tehran.
While some hope it will strengthen his commitment to do more for world peace, others feel it is too early in his presidency to be awarded such a prestigious accolade.
