Nazi war crimes suspect on trial
Former SS member in court for suspected murders in Netherlands during World War II.

A suspected member of a Nazi death squad has gone on trial in western Germany, decades after the end of World War II, charged with killing three Dutch citizens.
After the war ended Heinrich Boere, 88, had spoken in detail about the alleged murders he committed in the Netherlands while serving in Adolf Hitler’s Vaffen SS.
Boere somehow managed to avoid prosecution, until now.
