As rescue teams pull mangled bodies and injured people from the debris, the scale of death, destruction and injury caused by a major earthquake in the Indonesian coastal city of Padang is beginning to emerge.
Al Jazeera’s Step Vaessen reports on the city that is picking up the pieces after the devastation.
