Congress finds little Iraq progress

Government accountability report says violence still high.

Al Jazeera Breaking News
A day after Bush visited Iraq and spoke of a possible drawdown in US troops if what he called security successes continued, the accountability office said Iraq had failed at reducing sectarian violence and passing laws on oil revenue sharing.

The report was to be released at a Senate hearing on Tuesday, but advanced copies were leaked to media outlets.
