Road to link Bangladesh to Myanmar
The road is expected to boost trade and tourism between the south Asian neighbours.

Major-General Saw Tun, Myanmar’s minister for construction, told reporters in the Bangladesh capital, Dhaka: “We hope to continue our project to connect the Asian highway to go up to China, Thailand and India.”
Myanmar exports beans and pulses to Bangladesh, while importing jute and ceramics from its neighbour.
