I firmly believe that spying started shortly after 9/11. I also believe that finding potential terrorists, was not the only goal!

The US has become a secrete government. The day my government sneaks, peeks and listens in on my conversations, is the day I become anti-government, and I will resist this administration in any legal way I can.
Wiliam W Taylor, USA
I am very glad the NSA is spying. If they were not, do you think they would have found the terrorist in my state, Ohio?
I am pleased with the work of the NSA and President Bush.

Almost since the US constitution was put in force, the executive branch and the legislative branch have tried to dominate the other. The courts have usually settled it, and will likely do so again. It’s just another day in Washington.
Tom Jones, USA

Americans fight and die to defend that freedom. Anyone who would give that up for alleged “safety” does not deserve the Freedom, or such safety.
Goverments do “spy” on their citizens for resons of security and for their own good, and yet it is a tool that is commmonly used to control the people and use it to keep the present rulers in power. As long as we allow Big Brother to control us and tell us what to do, obviously we are not free.
