Israel launches Indonesian website

It says move is to promote dialogue with worlds most populous Muslim nation.

“Following talks that I have conducted with Indonesians from all walks of life, I have learnt that there exists a great thirst for knowledge about Israel…” he added.
 
Indonesia and Malaysia, Southeast Asia’s two largest predominantly Muslim nations, do not have diplomatic relations with Israel.
 
Ben Dov has previously said Israel would like a dialogue with Indonesia and Malaysia in order to work together on problems in the Middle East.
The website will include news articles as well as information on Israel’s economy, culture and religion.
