Several die in Bangladesh stampedes
At least eight people have been killed in two separate stampedes in Bangladesh.

The stampedes occurred when hundreds of destitute Bangladeshis rushed to obtain charity clothing distributed ahead of a Muslim festival of Eid, Associated Press said on Saturday.
Sixteen others were injured in the stampedes, United News of Bangladesh and ATN Bangla television station said.
Most of the victims were women, the reports said.
Four women and a child were killed in Mymensingh district, 112km north of Dhaka.
Three other women died in Patuakhali district, 152km south of Dhaka, the reports said.
