What is so laughable is the US and Israel have nuclear weapons and both have said they are welling to use them.
Charles Jackson, US
If the US could get itself to embrace Qadhafi’s pariah state of Libya, why all this jingoistic sabre-rattling with Iran? Unless it is a pretext to repeat another disastrous regime change in the Middle East after Iraq?
Vernon Ram, China
Anyone who thinks having nuclear weapons will make them safer is wrong. It just makes them a fair target. Between the US, Russia, and soon China, there are enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world 10 times over.
If the people of this world were smart, then every country would get rid of “all” the nuclear weapons and do as God wants everyone to do: Get along with each other.
Forget hate and help solve world problems like hunger and sickness. Religion was made to worship God and show love and kindness, yet man and all religions use it for hate. That’s Satan’s way. He wins and man loses.
R Jordan, US
I am astounded that the article makes no mention of Israel‘s nuclear weapons, as if they are irrelevant to Iran‘s national security.
Basem Khader, US
As a matter of fact, everywhere in the world the states that are allowed to survive are only those who support the US exploitation policy. Iran is the great barrier in the way of that aim.
That is why the US images itself as the guardian of global security, but actually it is a follower of it own benefits.
Inam ul Haq, Pakistan
Iran should have nuclear energy for peaceful uses. No country should have the atomic bomb, including the US and Israel. They should destroy their own bombs and then force other countries to destroy theirs too.
