The car, which was completely destroyed, was hit in the al-Shujaiyah district of Gaza City, reports Aljazeera’s correspondent.
The dead Palestinian has been identified as Yusuf Hijazi, 18, adds the correspondent. It was still unclear whether Hijazi was a resistance fighter or civilian.
Two of the injured are in a serious condition.
A bloodied shoe and shirt remained at the scene after the wounded people were evacuated. A crowd gathered around the wreckage, looking through the shattered windshield at a bloodied seat and mangled metal.
The latest missile strike occurred just hours after Palestinians blew up an Israeli armored vehicle, killing six soldiers, during fierce fighting in the Gaza Strip.
The attack occurred during an Israeli raid of the Zaitun neighbourhood of Gaza City, in which at least four Palestinians were killed and up to 70 others injured.
Israel has carried out scores of targeted missile attacks on resistance fighters and their leaders.
On 22 March, Hamas founder Shaikh Ahmad Yasin was killed in an Israeli missile strike. Less than a month later, Yasin’s successor, Abd al-Aziz al-Rantisi, was killed in a similar attack.
